BANDA 20 DE JULIO DE REPELON is a musical group that originated from the majority of musicians who were part of the Banda 13 de Junio de Repelón. In 1970, during a celebration in El Copey, Cesar, they formed the Gran Banda del 20 de Julio, with the name officially recognized on the program Aquí La Costa, broadcasted by Radio Libertad. The band consists of men from rural backgrounds who balanced their agricultural work with music, rehearsing in the evenings after their farming duties to prepare for performances in various communities.
