BANDA 20 DE JULIO DE REPELON is a musical group that originated from the majority of musicians of the Banda 13 de Junio de Repelón. In 1970, during a performance at a party in El Copey, Cesar, they formed the Gran Banda del 20 de Julio, officially named in the program Aquí La Costa on Radio Libertad. The band consists of men from rural backgrounds who balanced their agricultural work with music. After long days of farming, they would rehearse the pieces they performed in various towns that invited them.
