Barbara Jones is a reggae artist from Kingston, Jamaica, who gained prominence from the 1970s to the 1990s. She began her career in the early 1970s and is regarded by many as "the leading lady of song." In 1972, she made her debut with the track "Sad Movies (Make Me Cry)."
