Bardo State is a musical duo consisting of Frank Wijn and Dorian Broekhuyse, who have been deeply engaged with classical music since their youth. Frank, the son of a renowned Dutch concert pianist, and Dorian, a conservatory graduate with experience in dance music production, draw inspiration from influential composers such as Satie, Ravel, and Saint Saëns, as well as contemporary figures like Arvo Pärt and Philip Glass. Founded in 2003, Bardo State aims to make classical music more accessible to a wider audience.
