Barra de Chocolate was an Argentine psychedelic rock band formed in 1969 following the disbandment of a previous group. Led by Zaguri, the band quickly recorded their first single, "Hippies y Todo el Circo / Cual es la Forma?" after just two hours of practice, which sold over 15,000 copies. They achieved further success by winning the Festival Nacional de Música Beat that same year and sold over 40,000 copies with two additional singles: "Alza la Voz / El Gigante" and "El Malecon / Vivir en las Nubes." In 1970, they released their only LP, "La Barra de Chocolate," along with a single titled "Voces de la Calle / Doña Lucia" before disbanding. The band's formation included members on vocals, bass, keyboards, guitar, and drums.
