Barrabas was a Spanish funk-rock group formed in the early '70s by former leader Fernando Arbex. Initially a six-piece, the lineup included Tito Duarte, Miguel Morales, Ricky Morales, Ignacio Egana, and Joao Vidal. The group was based in Madrid and was influenced by funk, psychedelic, and Latin rock, often incorporating elements of jazz-funk and disco into their music. They achieved popularity with several singles that became club favorites in various countries. After releasing a self-titled album in 1977, Barrabas disbanded. In the early '80s, Arbex revived the group with a slightly changed lineup.
