Barry Blue is a British singer-songwriter and producer, born on December 4, 1950, in London. He gained recognition for his first hit as a songwriter, "Rainmaker Girl." Barry is best known for his hit songs "Dancin' (On A Saturday Night)" (1973), which he co-wrote, and "Do You Wanna Dance" (1973). Throughout his career, he has written and/or produced songs for a wide variety of artists. He is also a co-founder of a dance label, and his songs are published by a notable publishing company.
