Bas Sheva was born on July 25, 1925, in the Bronx, NY, USA, and passed away on February 11, 1960, in South Carolina, USA. She was a singer known for her significant contributions to music. In 1953, she was engaged by a bandleader as the lead voice on "Soul of a People," a collection of traditional Jewish songs released by Capitol Records. The following year, she was offered the role of star vocalist in a suite titled The Passions.
