Beatriz Ferreyra (born 1937, Córdoba, Argentina) is an Argentinian composer known for her contributions to music. She studied in Paris and worked at the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) from 1963 to 1970, where she was involved in the production of recordings for Pierre Schaeffer's Solfège de l’objet sonore (1967). Ferreyra also had an educational role during GRM training periods and lectured at the Conservatoire national de musique de Paris. Since 1970, she has been a free composer and collaborated on instrumental research with Pierre Boulez on his Structures sonores (1970). In 1975, she became a member of the Collège des compositeurs established by the Groupe de musique expérimentale de Bourges (GMEB). She worked at Dartmouth College in Hanover, USA, in 1976 and created music for musicotherapy from 1973 to 1977. More recently, in 1998, she curated a series of musique concrète concerts at the Centre d’études et de recherches Pierre Schaeffer in Montbéliard, France.
