Becky Hobbs is an American country singer, songwriter, musician, and casting director, born on January 24, 1950, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. An inductee of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, she wrote her first song at the age of nine and formed Oklahoma's first all-female rock group, Four Faces of Eve, while still in high school. After spending two years with the southern rock band Swampfox, she moved to Los Angeles, where she lived for nearly a decade. Hobbs began her solo recording career in 1974 and is best known for her songwriting, with notable compositions including "I Want to Know You Before We Make Love" for Conway Twitty and "Angels Among Us" for Alabama.
