Beechwood is an original rock and roll band from New York City, formed in 2012. The trio carries the torch of infamous bands, drawing inspiration from a tradition rooted in juvenile delinquency. The band consists of Lawrence on vocals and guitar, Tineo on drums, and Manzanares on bass. Lawrence blends sensitivity reminiscent of certain artists with the visceral aggressiveness of the Raw Power-era Stooges. Tineo's drumming often leaves his hands bloodied and drum heads dismembered, matching Lawrence's intense style. Meanwhile, bassist Manzanares, the quiet one of the group, captivates audiences with his authoritative playing, leaving them to ponder his gender.
