Belbury Poly is the musical project of Jim Jupp, who co-runs a record label. His music evokes the churning synth sounds and dreamy analogue explorations of the 60s vanguard. Drawing comparisons to Raymond Scott and the output of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop from the 60s and 70s, Belbury Poly features off-key melodies, muted rhythms, and a blend of sounds that are both hopeful and spooky.
