Ben White is a singer known for his modern soul and boogie funk releases from Los Angeles, California. At the age of 25, he was introduced to Motown by Eddie Bongo Brown of the Funk Brothers, which led to his collaboration with Marvin Gaye. Five years later, he self-released the single "I Would Have To Be A Fool." Ben is also related to notable figures in music, as his cousins are Cab Calloway and Otis Redding.
