Benji B is a highly respected music curator, renowned for his work as a radio broadcaster, DJ, record producer, and musical director. Since the early 2000s, he has hosted one of the world's most influential radio shows, building a global network that spans various genres and generations. His significant interviews with culturally revered artists, some of whom are no longer with us, have solidified his status as a key international tastemaker. With 20 years of experience as a club DJ, Benji is a regular at Circoloco and Manchester’s Warehouse Project. He has been running the legendary Deviation club nights since 2007, featuring notable guests such as A$AP Rocky, James Blake, Kaytranada, Moodymann, Skepta, Travis Scott, and Virgil Abloh. Each year, Deviation hosts a highly anticipated stage at Notting Hill Carnival in collaboration with Killerwatt Soundsystem. Benji has collaborated with established recording artists, including Kanye West on projects like 'Yeezus' and 'Life of Pablo', as well as Miles Davis and Bashy. He is known for transcending dated genre boundaries, celebrating the connections between different musical worlds while honoring music's deep history and supporting emerging artists. In the fashion industry, Benji worked with Phoebe Philo on Celine's runway music until her final season and served as the music director for Louis Vuitton Mens during Virgil Abloh’s tenure, which he considers some of his most special work.
