Benny Sings is a Dutch singer, songwriter, and producer born in Dordrecht, The Netherlands, in 1977. He formed his first band, The Loveboat, while in high school and studied sonology. In 1999, he joined a hip-hop group as a bassist, adopting the stage name Benny Sings. That same year, he formed another group and began collaborating with various artists. He started his solo career in 2003.
