Bent Wind is a Canadian band formed in Toronto, Ontario, in 1969. The group recorded and released their debut LP, "Sussex," that same year on Merv Buchanan's Trend label. The album, named after a street in Toronto where the band practiced, had a limited pressing of no more than 200 copies, making it a rare find in the Canadian music collector's market, with copies fetching up to $5,000 and even $8,000 in 2018. "Sussex" is considered a holy grail of Canadian heavy psych and was remastered and re-released in 2018, with a limited run of 400 black vinyl and 100 gold vinyl pressings. In 1989, under the leadership of Marty Roth, Bent Wind reformed with new members and recorded their sophomore album, "The Fourth Line Is...You Will," 20 years after their debut. The band transitioned to CD with their third album, "Shadows On The Wall," released in 1996. Roth frequently altered the band lineup and was supported by various musicians throughout their career. In 2005, Roth uncovered live recordings of the original Bent Wind from Ryerson Polytechnical in 1969 and released them in remastered CD format. The original 1969 lineup consisted of Gerry Gibas (guitar, vocals), Marty Roth (rhythm guitar, vocals), Sebastian Pelaia (bass), and Eddie Thomas (drums). The 1996 lineup
