Berto Pisano was an Italian composer, conductor, arranger, and bassist, born on October 13, 1928, in Cagliari. He was the younger brother of an unspecified individual and began his career as a jazz musician playing the bass, initially in Quintetto Aster and later in another unnamed group. He was a songwriter for various artists and composed or directed music for over 50 film and television scores. Throughout his career, he often used a pseudonym. Berto Pisano passed away on January 29, 2002.
