Wright was the sister of several individuals, though their names are not specified. Her most famous song, "Clean Up Woman," was written by TK producers and released in 1971 when she was just 17 years old, achieving million-selling status. Another notable track, "Tonight Is The Night," was initially released in 1974 but gained greater popularity in 1993 after being sampled in "Knockin’ Boots." In the mid-1980s, Betty Wright founded her own label, producing a gold album under it.
