Big Noyd, born Tajuan Akeom Perry on May 7, 1975, in Queensbridge, New York, is a rapper recognized for his strong ties to Mobb Deep and his numerous guest appearances on their albums. He made his first recorded appearance on “Stomp 'Em Out” from Mobb Deep’s 1993 debut album, Juvenile Hell. His notable verse on “Give Up the Goods (Just Step)” from The Infamous (1995) helped propel his solo career. He released his debut solo album, Episodes of a Hustla, in 1996, followed by Only the Strong (2003), On the Grind (2005), and Illustrious (2008). Of African American and Puerto Rican descent, Big Noyd remains active in the New York underground hip-hop scene. Following the death of Prodigy in 2017, he began supporting Mobb Deep on tours by performing Prodigy's verses during live shows.
