Bill Bowen was an American jazz saxophonist born on January 3, 1909. He is most recognized for his role as the 2nd Tenor with The Ink Spots from 1943 to 1951. Throughout his career, he collaborated with notable artists such as Billie Holiday, Count Basie, Lucky Millinder, Buddy Johnson, and Teddy Wilson. Bill Bowen passed away on September 27, 1982, in New York City, New York.
