Bill Champlin is a renowned singer, songwriter, guitarist, keyboard player, arranger, and producer, born on May 21, 1947, in Oakland, California. He is best known for his work with the band Chicago. Prior to this, he was a member of the Sons of Champlin and has contributed as a songwriter for various artists, including Patti LaBelle, Lou Rawls, Elton John, Boz Scaggs, Donna Summer, Nancy Wilson, George Benson, Jimmy Smith, Amy Grant, Neil Diamond, and Kenny Rogers. He is also a father.
