Bill Moss was an American gospel music singer, songwriter, producer, keyboardist, and label owner, active from the 1960s to the 1980s. Born in Selma, Alabama, in 1931, he passed away in 2007. He was married to a gospel singer and was the brother of another gospel singer. Bill was also the father of two children and the uncle to others. Before 1960, he moved to Boston, MA, where he sang lead for a gospel group. He later formed another group and, in 1963, relocated to Detroit, MI, where he met and married his wife, who was already an established gospel singer in the area before joining the Celestials. Bill recorded extensively on various labels and founded his own label. In recognition of his contributions to gospel music, he was inducted into the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2004.
