Billy Young was a US soul and rhythm 'n' blues singer born in 1941 in Daingerfield, Texas. He was active on the West Coast and later in Macon, Georgia. Known for his production work, Young released a long series of singles over two decades, from 1963 to 1984. He passed away on August 19, 1999.
