Biohazard is an American hardcore band formed in Brooklyn, New York City, in 1987. They are known for being one of the earliest bands to combine hardcore punk and heavy metal with elements of hip hop. The original lineup included bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld, guitarist Bobby Hambel, and drummer Anthony Meo. Guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei joined shortly after, and drummer Danny Schuler replaced Meo before the recording of their first album, solidifying the lineup from 1988 to 1995. After experiencing several lineup changes, a breakup, and a reunion in 2008, the band went inactive for seven years. In 2022, the classic lineup of Seinfeld, Graziadei, Hambel, and Schuler reunited and announced upcoming performances in 2023.
