Bittervetch was a high school teen combo from Centerville, Ohio, active from 1965 to 1967. Originally known as the Chandells, the group consisted of Rob Hegel (keyboards), Mike Reed (drums), Craig Carlson (rhythm guitar), Tim Daum (lead guitar), Dale Graham (vocals), and Geoff Hearsum (bass). In 1966, they recorded a 45 at Mega-City featuring two original songs written by Rob Hegel. Their music showcased nice melodic garage influences with a British touch.
