She was married to her second husband from 1995 until his death in 2016 and was previously married to a jazz pianist from 1966 to 1978 before their divorce. B.J. is the mother of an actress and is also known for creating and starring in "Stand-Up Opera," a musical one-woman show. Additionally, she is a licensed aviator.
