Bjorn Jason Lindh was a Swedish composer, arranger, pianist, flautist, and painter, born on October 25, 1944, in Arvika, Sweden. He passed away on December 21, 2013, in Nora, Sweden, where he lived with his second wife since 2009. Lindh's musical career spanned various styles, including fusion, progressive rock, and jazz with North African influences, as well as classical chamber and symphonic music. He also composed for theatre, television, and movies. His musical journey began at the age of 14 when he played saxophone in a local dance band. In 1962, he started his musical education at what is now known as Ingesund College of Music, located near his hometown. From 1963 to 1971, he studied piano and flute solo playing at the Royal Swedish Academy of Music in Stockholm while working as a session musician. He was engaged by one of the founders of a Swedish record company to work as a studio musician and played in several bands throughout the 1970s, releasing his first solo albums in 1971. Lindh frequently collaborated with close friends and achieved his biggest hit on Swedish radio in 1980 with the single "Brusa högre lilla å," which was added to his 1980 album "Våta vingar" at the last minute.
