Bjørn Torske is a Norwegian producer and DJ originally from Tromsdalen, Norway. He made his debut with the "T.O.S. EP" compilation, appearing as Alegria and collaborating with Ole Johan Mjøs as Radikal Buzz. Together, Torske and Mjøs formed the project Ismistik, releasing three EPs on Djax, and also worked with Rune Lindbæk on Open Skies and Volcano. After relocating to Bergen, Torske continued Ismistik as a solo project, producing the classic album "Remain," released in 1995. Since then, Ismistik has been largely inactive, with Torske focusing on his solo work and occasionally releasing music under the Krisp moniker for his more techno-oriented projects.
