Black Dice is an experimental group based in Brooklyn, NY, originally formed in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1997. Known for their unique blend of noise music and rock structures, they have evolved to create more expansive soundscapes with a focus on electronic instrumentation. The band comprises members Bjorn Copeland (guitar), Hisham Bharoocha (drums), Sebastian Blanck (bass), and Eric Copeland (vocals). After relocating to New York City, Sebastian Blanck left the band and was replaced by Aaron Warren. Hisham Bharoocha, who previously sang for Lightning Bolt, has also departed from the group and is currently pursuing a solo project called Soft Circle.
