Black Tambourine was a band formed by Archie Moore, Brian Nelson (who later joined Velocity Girl), and the enigmatic Pam Berry (who went on to be part of Glo-Worm and The Castaway Stones). Known for their captivating blend of distortion and melody, they created a unique sound in their music. Despite playing only a few gigs during their short career, their two singles released on Slumberland and Audrey's Diary had a significant impact and were instrumental in the emergence of US indie pop. It is important to note that they should not be confused with a UK band of the same name.
