**BLACKSMOKE Bio** BLACKSMOKE was launched in 2002 by Jimmy Cauty and James Fogarty, debuting with the 'Post Terrorist Modernism' EP in 2003. The duo completed several remixes for various artists, including The Dandy Warhols, A-ha, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Emperor, The Bloodhound Gang, Goldie Lookin Chain, Les Six, and Cradle of Filth, as well as remixing the theme for the film 'Herbie: Fully Loaded.' In 2005, Jimmy Cauty left BLACKSMOKE to create Stamps (of Mass Destruction) and focus on post-apocalyptic dioramas, while James Fogarty continued the project alone but later changed the name. By 2007, James suspended all musical activity for BLACKSMOKE. In 2021, James reactivated BLACKSMOKE, collaborating with Thomas Touzimsky and other artists to create new original music. It is important to note that while James wrote music for the post-BLACKSMOKE project 'Danger Global Warming project,' this material is not considered part of BLACKSMOKE, nor are any subsequent remixes, which should be attributed to a different project that does not include any founding members of BLACKSMOKE.
