Blam Blam Blam was a hugely influential New Zealand band formed in the early eighties from the remnants of a previous group. Despite their short history, they released one album, an EP, and a single, and are regarded as one of the most important bands of their era. They played a significant role in launching the career of a now-respected composer and musician in New Zealand. Their potential was interrupted when an offer from Virgin UK was cut short due to a serious vehicle crash while touring in late 1982, which almost killed bassist. Following this incident, the band disbanded.
