Blancmange is a British synth-pop duo formed in London in 1979, consisting of Neil Arthur and Stephen Luscombe. They achieved success in the early to mid-1980s with hits such as "Blind Vision," "Don't Tell Me," "Living On The Ceiling," "Lose Your Love," "That's Love, That It Is," and "Waves." However, their popularity began to decline by the mid-80s, and after the poor performance of their third album, "Believe You Me," the duo initially split in 1986. They reunited in 2006 and released a new album of original material titled "Blanc Burn" in 2011. Following this release, Luscombe left the group due to ill health, and Arthur has continued to perform under the Blancmange name. Stephen Luscombe passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 70.
