Blind Joe Reynolds was a country blues singer and guitarist, believed to have been born in either 1900 or 1904, with a likely birthplace in Tallulah, Louisiana. He passed away on March 10, 1968. Reynolds was blinded in the mid to late 1920s due to a shotgun blast to the face. His exact birth name remains uncertain; it is thought to be Joe Sheppard, although a relative claimed it was Joe Leonard. Throughout his career, he traveled across the country performing under various aliases to evade police and supposed enemies. Reynolds recorded two additional tracks on November 26, 1930, titled "Short Dress" and "Goose Hill Woman Blues," but these recordings were never released.
