Bloodstone is an American R&B and soul-funk band that originated in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1962. Initially starting as a doo-wop group, they transitioned to Las Vegas, Nevada, in the late 1960s. In 1971, under the name Bloodstone, they moved to Los Angeles, California, but struggled to gain traction and eventually relocated to London, UK. The band became recognized for their unique funk and soul sound, which incorporated elements of rock, doo-wop, and gospel music. Their most notable hit is "Natural High," released in 1973.
