Blops is a Chilean rock, psychedelic, and progressive band formed in 1964, initially starting as a cover band. They were first influenced by various artists and later by the Nueva Canción Chilena. In late 1969, they decided to focus solely on original music, following the path marked by other notable musicians of the time. Throughout their career, they performed and recorded with many artists from that period. The band split in 1973 but had brief reunions in 1974, 1978, and 2001.
