Blue Magic is a soul vocal group hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in 1972. They released eight albums between 1974 and 1989. The Delfonics brought them in for writing duties, and an early formation known as Shade of Love was auditioning during the same period. One member became the leader of the group. Blue Magic's most successful hits include "Sideshow," "Three Ring Circus," and their collaboration on "What's Come Over Me."
