Blumfeld was a German indie rock band founded in 1990, known for being one of the key bands of the "Hamburger Schule" movement, which thrived in the German music scene during the 1990s. The band was characterized by its acoustic indie music featuring German lyrics. The original lineup included members on vocals and guitar, drums, and bass. Over the years, later members contributed on bass, keyboards, and additional bass. Blumfeld disbanded at the end of their farewell tour in May 2007.
