Bo Hansson was a Swedish keyboard player and multi-instrumentalist, born on April 10, 1943, in Gothenburg, Sweden. He gained prominence in the mid to late 1960s as part of the organ and drums duo Hansson & Karlsson, where he gained notoriety for jamming with Jimi Hendrix. Hansson also collaborated with the bands Fläsket Brinner and Kebnekajse, although he never officially joined either group. Members from these bands contributed to his 1970s quadrilogy of instrumental fantasy prog rock albums, with his most famous work being the influential "Lord Of The Rings," also known as "Sagan Om Ringen." Bo Hansson passed away on April 24, 2010, in Stockholm, Sweden.
