Bob Holroyd is a musician known for his unique blend of ambient, global electronica, world chill, abstract dance, and new age classical sound. He founded Soundscape Music Production in England in 1987. Holroyd's work is characterized by its cinematic quality, which has led to a successful career in writing music for TV documentaries and production music for industrial films and corporate audio/visual productions. His first commercial album, "Fluidity & Structure," was inspired by his travels to Africa and Asia, featuring samples from his own recordings in Kenya and Gambia. His third full-length CD, "A Different Space," showcases a rich tapestry of sounds, including Indian shahnai, wood flutes, and African voices, creating a world music experience that is uniquely his own.
