Bobb Trimble is a psychedelic folk and outsider musician from Worcester, Massachusetts, known for his distinctive body of work that blends psychedelia, folk-rock, space music, and sound effects. Emerging a decade too late for the recognition he deserved, Bobb crafted compelling portrayals of a troubled psyche, infused with beauty and sorrow. His delicate, soaring voice resonates with deep emotion, and his music, reminiscent of the 1960s, retained a contemporary feel in the 1980s and upon its re-release in the 1990s. Bobb produced two exceedingly rare albums that command high prices among collectors, and his reputation flourished as his music circulated through tape exchanges. His work became more accessible in the mid-1990s when most of his albums were compiled and released on CD under the title Jupiter Transmission. Enthusiasts of psychedelia regard his music as among the finest of the 1980s. His public performances were primarily concentrated in the early 1980s, coinciding with the release of his albums Iron Curtain Innocence in 1980 and Harvest of Dreams. Although his musical style diverged from the punk rock bands of the "Wormtown" scene, his eccentric, solitary persona allowed him to blend seamlessly with his contemporaries.
