Bobby Beausoleil, born on November 6, 1947, in Santa Barbara, California, is known for his involvement with "The Manson Family" and his collaboration with Kenneth Anger on the film Lucifer Rising starting in 1967. In 1969, he was convicted of killing Gary Hinman, and in 1970, he was found guilty of first-degree murder. His death sentence was commuted to life imprisonment in 1972 when California temporarily abolished the death penalty.
