Bobby Boyd was an American producer, singer, and songwriter originally from Dunlap, Tennessee. He was known for his work as an independent producer in Oklahoma before relocating to Austin, Texas in his later years. Boyd passed away on June 22, 2017, in Spicewood, Texas, at the age of 69.
