Bobby Caldwell was an American jazz singer, songwriter, producer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist, born on August 15, 1951, in Manhattan, New York. He passed away on March 14, 2023, in Great Meadows, New Jersey. Known for his blue-eyed soul voice, Caldwell played guitar and piano, and he was versatile in various musical styles. He worked as a rhythm guitarist, composed film music, and released numerous solo albums. His notable hit, "What You Won't Do For Love," reached the top ten in 1978. Caldwell was married.
