Bobby Day was born on July 1, 1930, in Fort Worth, Texas, and passed away on July 27, 1990, in Los Angeles, California. He was a singer and songwriter best known for his 1958 hit "Rockin' Robin," which reached #2 on the charts. Day wrote the song "Little Bitty Pretty One," which later became a hit for Clyde McPhatter and the Jackson 5, and he also penned "Over And Over," which was covered by The Dave Clark Five.
