Bobby Edwards was an American country singer and musician, born on January 18, 1926, in Anniston, Alabama. He was known for his hits such as "You're The Reason," "I'm A Fool For Loving You," and "Don't Pretend." Edwards made notable appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and toured frequently. By the end of the 1960s, he had largely retired from music and returned to Anniston. Later, he took up gospel singing before retiring to Smyrna, a suburb of Nashville, Tennessee, in 2003. Bobby Edwards passed away on July 31, 2012, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
