Bobby Flores (Born: June 18, 1961 - Died: June 23, 2022) was a talented musician known for his skills on the violin, fiddle, guitar, and mandolin. He was a co-founder of Yellow Rose Records and owned the Bulverde Academy of Music (BAM!) alongside his father. A traditional country and western musician from Texas, Bobby recorded and performed with notable artists such as Ray Price, Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, and Doug Sahm. In 2003, he received a Grammy Award for his string and brass arrangements and violin performances on Freddy Fender’s CD, “La Musica de Baldemar Huerta.” He studied music theory and classical violin at Trinity University under Domenic Saltarelli, jazz guitar with Jackie King, and classical guitar with David Underwood.
