Bobby Montgomery was an American singer, guitarist, songwriter, engineer, producer, publisher, and label executive, born on May 12, 1937, in Lampasas, Texas. He passed away on December 4, 2014, in Lee's Summit, Missouri. From 1949 to 1955, Montgomery was the duet partner of an unnamed individual. He moved to Nashville in late 1959 and became a staff songwriter for an unspecified organization. In 1963, he formed his own publishing company, which he sold in 1967 before becoming the head of an unnamed country division. In 1969, he established another company with an unspecified partner. After it was sold in 1982, Montgomery became the Director of Creative Services at an unnamed organization. When Sony acquired Tree International in 1988, he became a vice president at an unspecified company. Additionally, Montgomery worked as a recording engineer at an unnamed studio. He was married to an unnamed individual from 1957 to 1992 and was the father of an unspecified number of children.
