Bobby Rydell was an American singer and musician born on April 26, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He began his musical career in childhood and, by his teenage years, had become a seasoned performer, adopting the stage name Rydell while playing drums in the band "Rocco And The Saints." In 1959, he achieved significant success with his hit "Kissin' Time," which reached the top twenty. For the next four years, Rydell consistently appeared on the music charts with popular songs such as "Forget Him," "Wild One," and "Sway."
