Body Music is a collaborative project formed in the spring of 2015 by producers, DJs, and musicians Vito Roccoforte and Bosq. Their connection was facilitated by a mutual appreciation for each other's work and a common friend, Jeffrey Paradise of Poolside. The duo shares a passion for raw, funky disco, house music, and jazzy gospel piano licks, leading them to exchange unfinished ideas until they crafted their debut EP. Vito Roccoforte is known for his drumming, particularly as a key member of The Rapture, and his production skills as one half of Vito & Druzzi. Bosq brings his expertise in instrumentation and groove-based approaches, showcased in his afro/Latin/disco/funk projects for Ubiquity and Soul Clap Records. Together, their blend of live drumming, instrumentation, and seasoned electronic production creates an organic and musical aesthetic that resonates on modern dance floors.
